Lichen Birdie necklace

These birds are a thing of the past now, sadly! The lapidary artist is no longer making them.

Set in all sterling silver, with brass cast cedar accent, this bird is cut from a variscite from Nevada. The stone reminds me of the lichen that grows on the trees where I live, beautiful!
